With a prevailing watery, energetic environment and a focus on evolving relationships this June we could easily find ourselves involved in transforming old emotional wounds, especially those associated with the heart.
It is important that we recognise just how important it is for us to go with the flow on this one and allow anything that needs transformation, a non-judgemental space in which to realign. Should you happen to find yourself connecting with some old familiar heart wounds this month, take a breath, detach and observe what has been triggered.
Notice particularly the defence pattern or patterns that you unconsciously put in place to help you cope with the original pain, because it is these that will offer up the resistance to moving on.
Identifying Defence Patterns
Perhaps you experienced a lack of nurturing and loving acceptance as a child which still sits in your heart chakra as a painful memory. Feeling unloved as a small child does not provide emotional security or a sense of physical safety, so your coping strategy in this difficult situation might well have been to shut yourself off and to agree to do what everyone around you wanted to gain approval.
Many other patterns then get layered on top of this original set of defence patterns, including a lack of confidence and self-value as well as a misunderstanding about how to create positive personal boundaries in relationship situations. However, more important than any of these is the resulting inability to love and accept yourself exactly as you are, something that can easily pass unnoticed because it is just so unknown.

Compassion for Yourself
When we are immersed in a stream of unconditionally loving energies of ever increasing intensity like those we are experiencing now, the heart naturally tries to open to receive the nurturing that this provides, however this also triggers those unconscious defence patterns that try to remind us that this might not be a safe thing to do, and look what happened when we tried that before, etc.
What will ultimately render all of those carefully accumulated defence patterns redundant, is allowing compassion and love for self to take precedence in your heart chakra. As the personality feels loved and secure it begins to trust again and then the old emotional wounding and related defence patterns will simply dissolve in the love that you are.
Remember, the universe has your back so just allow it to help you remember how to love yourself.
