Connecting With the Natural World

Since the first conference in 2014 the Plant Consciousness conference has brought together some of the foremost speakers in the field. It is both a forum for discussion and a focal point for a strand of understanding that is, while not yet mainstream, reaching a wider and wider audience all of the time. Plant consciousness and a deeper awareness of the living world around us and the gifts that it can offer us are more important now than ever. The more that we can deepen our connection with nature the more that we can deepen our connection with ourselves and this has huge beneifts for our own emotional and mental wellbeing. Moreover we need to better understand our place in the natural world, as a society we urgently need to recognise what we are doing to the natural environment around us and and beginning to build a consciouss and aware relationship with the natural world is a great way to change out attitudes and actions towards nature.
All of which made it very high on our list of conferences to attend, starting with this years event!
Plant Consciousness 2017 took place on the 23rd & 24th September at Regents University, London and the event was a wonderful reminder of our natural and inherent connection with Mother nature. There was a fascinating list of speakers including: Tonita Gonzales, Dr Rocío Alarcón, Anthar Kharana, Kurikindi and more bringing together collective wisdom from all around the world.
Connecting Two Worlds – Essences & More
Plant consciousness and awareness and Flower, Gem & Crystal Essences fit hand in glove; after all Essences are all about consciousness and when when make an Essence we are using the natural energy or vibrational frequency of the flower, gem or crystal. The conference itself has been supported by the British Flower & Vibrational Essences Association ( BFVEA ) for a number of years for the same reason.
This was our first year visiting the conference and we took along both our range of Flower, Gem & Crystal Essences and also the Music of the Plants devices to display on the stand.
It was wonderful to meet so many like minded and interesting people, all looking to further and deepen their knowledge about themselves, plant consciousness and communication with the natural world.
From an Essence point of view experience of many shows and exhibitions shows that every event seems to draw people who are themselves drawn to a particular range of Essences. This one seemed to be all about the Chakra Essences, with many people wanting to understand how to balance their chakras using these flower, gem & crystal essence combinations.
The Music of the Plants
Of course, the conference was also a perfect place to take the Music of the Plants devices. These wonderful devices are all about plant consciousness and plant communication and there was both a lot of interest over the course of the weekend and also a lot people wanting to take one away with them – in fact quite a few people did just that!
Looking Forward to 2018
It was a real joy to sit and listen to the speakers over the course of the weekend and to meet and talk with some of the over 300 attendees that came to the conference. A big thank you to the great team of the people from Archetype Events who put this together and made it all work so beautifully.
Sam is a director at Crystal Herbs and has been with us since 1996. He is passionate about all aspects of Flower & Vibrational Essences, from making and developing them, to using them for personal and spiritual growth. Sam is a trained essence practitioner, energy healer and teacher and loves sharing knowledge and information about Essences and any other tools that help us to re-connect with our hearts and the true essence of who we are. Sam is also currently treasurer for the British Association of Flower Essence producers.
