Since its first gathering in 2014, the Plant Consciousness Conference has brought together some of the foremost voices exploring plant consciousness and our relationship with the living world. It serves both as a forum for thoughtful discussion and as a focal point for a growing body of understanding that, while not yet mainstream, continues to reach an ever-wider audience.
A deeper awareness of plant consciousness—and of the living world around us and the gifts it offers—is more important now than ever. The more we deepen our connection with nature, the more we deepen our connection with ourselves, with profound benefits for our emotional and mental wellbeing. Beyond the personal, there is an urgent collective need to better understand our place within the natural world. As a society, we must recognise the impact we are having on the environment, and beginning to cultivate a more conscious and aware relationship with nature is a powerful way to shift our attitudes and actions.
All of this placed the conference very high on our list of events to attend, starting with this year’s gathering.
Plant Consciousness 2017 took place on 23rd and 24th September at Regent’s University, London, and proved to be a wonderful reminder of our inherent and natural connection with Mother Nature. The event featured a fascinating and diverse lineup of speakers, including Tonita Gonzales, Dr Rocío Alarcón, Anthar Kharana, Kurikindi, and others, bringing together collective wisdom from cultures and traditions around the world.
Connecting Two Worlds – Flower Essences & More
Plant consciousness and awareness sit hand in glove with Flower, Gem & Crystal Essences. After all, flower and crystal essences are fundamentally about consciousness. When we create an essence, we are working with the natural energy – or vibrational frequency – of the flower, gem, or crystal itself. For this reason, the conference has been supported by the British Flower & Vibrational Essences Association (BFVEA) for several years.
This was our first year attending the conference, and we brought along both our range of Flower, Gem & Crystal Essences and the Music of the Plants devices to display on our stand. Interestingly, we had first encountered the Music of the Plants technology at the BFVEA Annual Gathering earlier in the year.
It was a pleasure to meet so many like-minded and inspiring people, all seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves, plant consciousness, and communication with the natural world. From a flower essence perspective, our experience at many shows and exhibitions has shown that each event tends to attract people who resonate with a particular range of essences. At this conference, the focus was very much on the Chakra Essences, with many attendees keen to learn how to balance their chakras using these flower, gem & crystal essence combinations.
The Music of the Plants
Of course, the conference was also a perfect place to take the Music of the Plants devices. These wonderful devices are all about plant consciousness and plant communication and allow you to connect with the natural world around you. This helps you to go beyond traditional ways of thinking and expand your awareness of how to relate to plants, trees and nature in general. There was both a lot of interest over the course of the weekend and also a lot people wanting to take one away with them – in fact quite a few people did just that!
What an Inspiring Event
It was a real joy to sit and listen to the speakers over the course of the weekend and to meet and talk with some of the over 300 attendees that came to the conference. A big thank you to the great team of the people from Archetype Events who put this together and made it all work so beautifully.
