We’ve all got a viewpoint on it. Some of us will think about it in the context of relationships. The new age world will talk about it in terms of self-love and raising your vibration. There are things we love to do, people we love, ways we like to give and receive love. The list goes on and on. It’s a powerful force. In its purest form, it brings with it a feeling of oneness. A feeling that can cure all ills. A feeling that makes all the wrongs right. It’s what we all strive to feel more of and yet, if love is the answer, why do so many of us fear it?<\/p>\r\n We’ve all been through something that has broken us in some way. That’s left scars that may not be visible to the human eye. It’s those scars that I talk about here. Whether you’re on a well-trodden path of self-mastery or just waking up to a desire for change, you will, more than likely, reach a point where you will touch upon those deepest, darkest, traumas that fear the very thing you equally crave. Heart Alchemy is the processes of transforming those heavy fears into the lightness of love again. For some of us those fears may have begun in childhood. You may have felt emotionally neglected, rejected or suffered abuse. You may have turned the sword in on yourself and decided you weren’t good enough or loveable just as you are. You may have had a blessed childhood and it was only when you reached adulthood that you started to struggle. Maybe you have been betrayed in love or left broken-hearted by a loss. Whatever the cause of your fear(s), it is possible, over time, to reconnect with the magic and wonder of love once more.<\/p>\r\n This sharing is a personal one. It’s a sharing from my heart of the essences that have been my trusted companions over the years as I’ve sought to disarm my own wounds around love. Fears that stem from the trauma of heart-breaking experiences and protective, hidden, fears that were telling me it wasn’t safe to love because of all the painful things it can bring… loss, abandonment, rejection, grief and more.<\/p>\r\n Why embark on this journey? I have found that the clearer and freer the pathways are within my heart, the more able I am to tune into the guidance of my soul and listen less to the noise in my head. As I bring back into the fold all those parts of my personality that felt unlovable, hurt and rejected, the more whole I feel. The freer I feel. The more peace I feel. The Heart Chakra is the fulcrum of the energy flow through the whole body so when unprocessed emotional trauma gets trapped within the heart centre, it’s easy to understand the impact this can have on you energetically, mentally, physically and spiritually. It may be a surrendering so intense you feel as if you are dying but essences have really helped me to remember that, in truth, I am not. I am letting go to let in. Breaking down to breakthrough.<\/p>\r\n An amazing range of essences that I have been using and supporting clients with for nearly 20 years. We develop an unconscious template of what love is, based on the way we are treated by our parents\/caregivers before the age of 7. If you are wanting to break free from some of these traits and beliefs, then these are my standard go-to essences for self-esteem, self-worth and self-love issues as well as deeper shadow work. Freeing the Inner Child from the pain of the past is incredibly transformative when it comes to matters of the heart.<\/p>\r\n Peace is for releasing and transforming shock and trauma that occurs during our early years. This essence restores a sense of peace where once there was anxiety, jitteriness and fear. When you feel more at peace you feel more able to go into those painful places inside that the younger you is holding on to. Inner Child Peace<\/a><\/p>\r\n I recommend this essence whenever there has been an absence or lack of love in childhood. That love may not have been enough or it may have been in the form that didn’t meet your needs. This essence floods our energy system with the vibration of unconditional love. This may feel unfamiliar, perhaps even repulsive, but over time, you will notice a change, a softening, to feel safe enough to begin the process of letting go. In turn, you will come to understand the impact your early experiences may have had on you and your adult relationships so you can make new choices going forward as you reparent your unloved inner child. Inner Child Love<\/a><\/p>\r\n This essence is wonderful for adult complex emotional trauma and clearing of old emotions from the heart. When you have been bombarded with one trauma after another and you can’t see the wood for the trees, this essence makes sense of all the emotions you are feeling so that you can release pent up anger and frustration, move past overwhelm and tend to the core wounds with gentleness and love. Fuchsia – Karmic Essences<\/a><\/p>\r\n A range of powerful essences that assist in the development and activation of one’s Light body. This may be perceived as more advanced work but I have found it to be a great go to when there are buried emotional patterns that you can’t quite get to the nub of or they get stuck and keep coming up over and over again. Trauma energy can be like this. Especially helpful if you are afraid of your emotions and are subconsciously pushing them away. Great alongside trauma release work. Emotional Body – Light Body Essences<\/a><\/p>\r\n Anger, bitterness and resentment often accompany wounds of the heart. Whether you’re being called to forgive others or yourself, this is a beautiful combination essence that goes deep into your heart. Forgiveness isn’t about condoning someone’s behaviour towards you, it’s about freeing yourself from the torture of holding on. Often when we can step outside of our own pain, we are more able to see the pain (and possibly trauma) in another that may explain the internal drivers behind their behaviour. This clarity and understanding can help you to feel less victimised and prone to blame so you can move on to forgiveness. Self-forgiveness is about learning to love and accept yourself exactly as you are instead of continually beating yourself up for being less than perfect.Heartfelt Forgiveness – Rose Collection Essences<\/a><\/p>\r\n An amazing combination essence to support unconditional self-acceptance and the ability to love yourself. The soul communicates through the heart so when we are more able to love and accept ourselves non- judgmentally and unconditionally, the more light from our soul can shine through unrestricted. Self Acceptance – Divine Harmony Essences<\/a><\/p>\r\n Buddhist Teacher, Pema Chodron, writes in her book ‘Practicing Peace’ “there’s a teaching that says behind all hardening and tightening and rigidity of the heart, there’s always fear. But if you touch fear, behind fear there is a soft spot. And if you touch that soft spot, you find the vast blue sky.
