The Valerian Flower<\/h2>\r\n

The Valerian Flower Essence is made from Red Valerian (Centranthus ruber), which is a well-known garden flower that can also often be found growing along verges and even from cracks in walls in the countryside. Once you have a clump of Red Valerian in your garden it will happily bloom every summer, seeding itself everywhere and anywhere that you give it space. The reason that it is so prolific is, rather like a dandelion, the flower heads eventually turn into fluffy seed heads that disperse seed in all directions when the wind blows. Although similar, this plant is not to be confused with Valerian officinalis, the roots of which have been traditionally been made into a tincture to aid sleep.<\/p>\r\n

Valerian Flower Essence<\/h2>\r\n

The common thread linking all the essences in this group is that they are all states that keep us from fully experiencing the present moment. <\/p>\r\n

A Habit of Disconnection<\/h3>\r\n

Many people have unconscious patterns that cause them to try to live life without fully participating in it. As a result, they find ways of distracting themselves from the present moment and become disconnected and unable to feel the fullness that life can offer. <\/p>\r\n
