So how did you get on surfing the wave of energetic intensity that March presented us with? Hopefully you managed to stay balanced enough on your "energetic surf board" to arrive at this point with some new insights and a positive reorientation to take you forward into the coming new cycle. You will no doubt have noticed that although the feeling of energetic intensity has diminished somewhat it is still there under the surface as we move into April. This is because we are currently in the transition phase between two eclipses, the new moon solar eclipse we have just had on March 20th and the full moon lunar eclipse still to come on April 4th. In other words we are in the middle of a process that is as yet incomplete.

This is a particularly powerful set of eclipses, firstly because of their interaction with the energies of the Pluto / Uranus square and secondly their timing, one at the Equinox and the other over Easter. Both of these festivals carry an important message concerning renewal, resurrection and rebirth. The two week period of transition between the two eclipses offers us a heightened opportunity to review and release anything old that we cannot take forward with us into our ‘rebirth’. Perhaps one of the more important questions we could ask ourselves during this period is "what is important to me deep in my heart and am I living that truth fully"? Certainly it will be important that we give ourselves plenty of quiet time over the coming days to go within and allow what is important for us going forward to be revealed.
The influence of Aries
As always during April the sun shines onto the earth through the constellation of Aries, bringing a magnification of the qualities and ray energies associated with this particular constellation and providing a potent energetic setting for all the other planetary activity this month.
As the first sign in the zodiac Aries marks the start of a new astrological cycle and each year brings us the stimulating opportunity for new beginnings. Its fiery, initiating energy seeks to promote regeneration and renewal in all areas of life, both spiritually and physically. This is highly creative, mental energy that brings with it a flow of inspiration and new ideas from the collective higher mind. Potentially then there is great opportunity available to us in this month’s energy flow, so how can we best use it?
Looking around the world right now it is abundantly clear that we are in great need of some inspiring innovative ideas to provide solutions for the problems that face us in every aspect of life from politics to religion to energy, resources and the environment. There is no doubt that there are solutions to all these problems and many others available to us from the vast potential of the higher mind, yet so far at least these solutions seem slow to take root in physical reality. One important reason for this is that we so often forget that we must be in vibrational alignment with the solution to a problem in order to be able to receive it. More often than not when we have a problem, whether it be personal or collective, we tend to spend more time going round and round in the vibration of the problem than we do looking beyond it for a solution.
Aries energy stimulates both the lower and higher mind so this month it will be especially important to watch the quality of your thoughts. Take the opportunity to check out what vibration your thoughts are aligning you with in each moment. Notice when you start to go off into an old "story" about yourself that does not have a vibration consistent with that of your true self. Be aware of how easy or not it is for you to be influenced by a collective thought form that does not actually resonate with your own consciousness. Use the cleansing, fiery qualities of Aries energy available this month to help you weed out those old thought patterns that you do not want to be a vibrational influence on your creations going forward. When enough of us maintain a consistent vibrational alignment with the new possibilities and solutions that already exist on a higher plane, then change will be rapid and inevitable.
