Balancing the Masculine Energies
Whether we are in a male body or a female one we all have both male and female energies as part of our makeup. We need the balanced qualities of both energies working together if we are to be fully functional in the world.
Ideally, each will complement and support the other to create a balanced foundation for us to work with. Unfortunately, old patterns of behaviour mean that both energies have become distorted and unbalanced over time and are now very much in need of bringing into greater balance.

Fear and judgement stemming from perceptions of past misuse of power can often be at the root of the unconscious personality resistance that prevents acceptance and balanced integration of our inner masculine polarity. For this reason, dysfunctional masculine energy can often be characterized by difficulties in life with authority or father figures, for instance, a strong dislike of being told what to do.
